Lot 8 opened its doors in
the summer of 2000, and over the course of 5 years, the
boutique has established itself as one of Houston’s
premiere shops. The boutique draws a diverse clientele of
local celebrities, fashion stylists, club crawlers, brides
to be and modern career women. Lot 8’s success stems
from the boutique’s mix of edgy sportswear, sexy cocktails
dresses, and modern eveningwear at affordable prices.
Most clients flock to the boutique from around the surrounding
areas of Houston hoping to score a one of a kind piece from
the exclusive Lot 8 collection by Chloe Dao. The collection
each season offers a wide selection of modern, sexy and
sophisticated cocktail dresses and gowns with the occasional
sportswear piece. Chloe believes that her designs are “never
stamped with a year or a trend; good designs should never
be.” Her “classic trendy” designs are
always modern and up to date no matter what year you wear
them. In addition to the Lot 8 collection, the boutique
carries a large selection of contemporary clothing and accessories
from different designers around the world.
As Chloe’s collections evolve season after season,
the boutique continues to grow and evolve year after year.
This year Lot 8 will be introducing menswear to the boutique
after many demands from their clients. Adam’s Apple
by Adam Vuong will debut in the boutique in mid-November
with a wide selection of uniquely detailed dress shirts,
tailored jackets and slim trousers. And in the near future,
the boutique plans to expand the shop to include a larger
selection of shoes and handbags.
Lot 8 has received and continues to receive much attention
from national and local press. Lucky, Texas
Monthly, Houston Chronicle, and Houston
Press are just a few who have covered the growth of
the company.
